Pav bhaji recipe || Best Pav bhaji recipe || घर पर पाव भाजी कैसे बनाये

 Pav bhaji is a famous street food of Mumbai. It is made from spicy meshed vegetables. It is topped with chopped onion, butter,Lemon etc. and served with dinner rolls. Pav and bhaji are two words 'Pav' means dinner rolls and "Bhaji" means vegetables.

Ingredients:-


For making bhaji:-

  • Potatoes 250 grams
  • Cauliflower 100-120 grams
  • Green peas 2 Cup
  • Chopped carrot 1 Cup
  • French beans 1/2 Cup
  • Water 2-2.5 Cup


Other ingredients:-

  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1-2 chopped onion
  • 1-2 Green chillies chopped
  • 1-2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 medium size chopped capsicum
  • 2-3 large tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2-3 teaspoon pav bhaji masala
  • 2 cup water
  • Salt as required
  • 10 pav or dinner rolls
  • 4-5 tablespoons butter for pav roast
  • Lemon 
  • Onion finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves
  • 3-4 tablespoons butter for topping


Instructions:-

  1. Rinse, peel and chop the vegetables.1 cup chopped cauliflower, 3 medium sized potatoes (chopped), 1 cup chopped carrots and ⅓ cup chopped french beans. You can also add veggies of your choice.

  2. Add 1 cup green peas and the above chopped veggies in a pressure cooker and add water.
  3. Cook it for about 10-12 min on medium flame.
  4. Open the pressure cooker when it cools down.
  5. In a frying pan or tawa add butter in it when it starts melting add cumin seeds.
  6. When cumin seeds crackle add chopped onion in it.
  7. Frying the onion till the onion colour start translucent.
  8. Add ginger garlic powder in it and cooked until raw aroma goes away.
  9. Add green chillies in it and mix well.
  10. Now add chopped tomatoes in it and mix well.
  11. Saute the tomato for 6-7 min until it soften and butter release from corner.
  12. When tomatoes softens add capsicum in it and saute for 3-4 min.
  13. Add 1 teaspoon red Kashmir chilli powder and turmeric powder.
  14. Add 2-3 teaspoon bhaji masala and mix it well.
  15. Mix veggies and add some water and mix it well.
  16. Mix thoroughly.
  17. Mesh it well and add salt according to taste 
  18. In another frying add 2-3 tablespoons butter.
  19. When butter starts melting add some pav bhaji masala in it.
  20. Now roast pav (bread rolls).
  21. Keep the roasted pav in serving plate.
  22. Server the bhaji with chopped onion and Corinder leaves.
